The "Trabant nT" is one of the prize winners of the ideas competition "Land der Ideen" (Germany - Country of ideas). An independet jury selected the newTrabi project from 2,200 ideas. Furthermore, the team was awarded the price in the special category "Gelebte Einheit" (practiced unity). After the Trabant nT Concept Car was premiered at the IAA 2009, the project is currently advanced by automobile professionals under the direction of IndiKar GmbH from Saxony. For the coloring, automobile designer Nils Poschwatta got his inspiration from the former Trabant 601 colors. To the new metallic light-blue design, the modernized color versions of the former Trabant´s green, yellow /*C*and*C*/ brown shades are now added. Herpa accompanies the project´s progress with the current Trabant nT miniatures in fashionably interpreted colors with the objective of bringing a newly designed Trabant with electric power system back on the road.
